Route description
Cap de Formentor – Mallorca’s Most Spectacular Coastal Route
Riding to the lighthouse at Cap de Formentor is one of the most iconic cycling experiences on Mallorca. The route winds from Pollença along the peninsula road through a landscape of turquoise bays and sheer cliff faces.
At 80 km and 1,200 m of climbing, it’s technically manageable – but the wind at the tip can make it more challenging than the numbers suggest. Early starters are rewarded with deserted roads and magical morning light.
Route character: Rolling climbs, beautiful descents, long finishing stretch
Best season: April to June, September to October
Starting point: Pollença (town centre)
